Louis Dreyfus Commodities, consistently ranked among the largest merchants and distributors
of oilseeds, handles all soybeans, canola, rapeseed, sunflower, flax, cotton and agricultural
by-products. The company trades and merchandises oilseeds in all principal international markets.
These activities include origination and aggregation for export in primary agricultural production
centers and the shipment, import and domestic distribution in local consumption markets throughout
the world.
Local supply and demand information, covering all producing and consuming countries of the
world, is compiled and maintained on a continuing basis.
LDCommodities is unique in its ability to offer a full suite of comprehensive risk management
products to customers, including products to manage commodity price and volume risks.
Biofuel assets are being developed in the United States, including a biodiesel plant
southwest of Claypool (Indiana).

LDCommodities originates oilseeds in all of the major production regions in the world,
including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Europe, South Africa and the states of the
former Soviet Union. In addition, it is engaged in a large distribution network in Europe, Asia,
Africa, the Middle East and the former Soviet Union.
Oilseeds activities are supported from major offices in Beijing, Buenos Aires, Delhi, Geneva,
Paris, São Paulo, Singapore and Wilton.
